Community Code of Conduct

CareerFoundry maintains a safe and learning-focused community for all students. We are committed to the values of respect, diversity, and collaboration. The way we communicate with one another at CareerFoundry—including in person, online, and at company events—is expected to reflect these values.

All users agree to abide by the CareerFoundry communications policy, which forbids:

  • Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, or religion. If you are making any comments about a colleague to someone at CF relating to these topics, please be aware that it is very likely inappropriate to do so and should be discouraged.

  • Unwelcome comments regarding a person’s lifestyle choices and practices, including those related to food, health, parenting, drugs, and employment.

  • Deliberate misgendering or use of ‘dead’ or rejected names.

  • Sexual images or behaviour; sexual attention.

  • Physical or simulated physical contact (e.g. textual descriptions like “hug” or “back rub”) without consent or after a request to stop.

  • Threats of violence.

  • Incitement of violence towards any individual, including encouraging a person to commit suicide or to engage in self-harm.

  • Deliberate intimidation.

  • Sustained disruption of discussion.

  • Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease.

  • Publication of non-harassing private communication.

Students who violate the Communications Policy may be withdrawn from their course or program. See Section 8.2 of the Terms and Conditions.
